5 stars because of a very good price/performance ratio. Simple menu, but the dishes are well prepared and well cooked. Be ready for a mix of Indian revisited german platters, all served with a salad as entree. If you ask, you can spice up your plate with peperoncino and coriander. All in all, it is a very, very nice place where to rest and have a good fulfilling meal (and beer!). 21 euros for two large beers and a main dish, excellent! Very friendly staff.

Wir haben sehr gut gegessen, im gemütlichen Biergarten. Das Cordon bleu ist sehr zu empfehlen, der Beilagensalat ein Traum. Alles frisch und handgemacht. Und das zu einem unschlagbaren Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Hier wird das Schnitzel noch geklopft und in der Pfanne gebraten. Die Portion dürfte etwas üppiger ausfallen, aber es hat gut geschmeckt. Die Ambiente, naja da sollte man mit den Tischdecke anfangen.

Hatten Schnitzel mit Bratkartoffel und Salat bestellt. Es hat sehr gut geschmeckt. Der Hund darf auch mit ins Restaurant bzw in den Biergarten. Parken in der näheren Umgebung problemlos möglich.

Für mich ist es ein kleiner Geheimtipp in der Schwalm.Ein urig etwas in die Jahre gekommenes Lokal in einer Seitengasse mit Biergarten. Betrieben wird das Restaurant von einer netten Familie. Die Karte ist ist bestens. Vom Bratenfleisch mit Klößen und Rotkohl über die Schweinshaxe mit Kraut zum Schnitzel und indisches Curryund vieles leckeres mehr. Wir hatten 3 Gerichte bestellt, Schweinefilet mit Bandnudeln und Pfifferlingen in Sauce, Die Hähnchen Pfanne und für mich das Rumpsteak mit Pfifferlingen und Bratkartoffeln welches Zart rosa und saftig gewesen ist. Das Essen kam nach einer angemessenen Zeit und war frisch zubereitet. Es war alles sehr lecker gewürzt und sehr ansprechend auf den Teller angerichtet. Wer es urig mag und gerne gut speist, ist hier definitiv richtig.

Ein echter Geheimtipp in der Schwalm Wir waren im Herbst 2025 zweimal innerhalb von zwei Wochen beim "Schwälmer" und waren beides mal sehr begeistert. Ich hatte beide Male Lachs, einmal mit Blattspinat und Kartoffeln, das andere Mal saisonal mit Pfifferlingen. Beides hervorragend und preislich absolut im Rahmen. Meine Begleiter hatten Cordon-Bleu und Rumpsteak und waren auch sehr zufrieden. Der indisch-stämmige Eigentümer, der das Lokal, wenn ich mich recht erinnere, Anfang 2025 übernommen hatte, hat mit der Entscheidung bei deutscher Küche zu bleiben, alles richtig gemacht. Ambiente ist etwas altbacken und könnte mal eine Renovierung vertragen, aber das ist zu vernachlässigen. Der kleine Biergarten ist leider auch nicht mehr als ein enger Innenhof.
